Stopped on a road trip wanting a non-chain restaurant the window sign said best Rueben...They deli is small and has a historic charm, the owner was welcoming and friendly. And yes, the Reuben was one of the best we've had. Highly recommend and we will definatley stop on our next road trip in Bowling Green direction.

I've had deli sandwiches across the country from NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, and LA and more... non-compare to Sterlings Amish deli! Their sandwiches are incredible especially the Rachael and their giant turkey club but on top of that the employees are very welcoming and it's also a great location to visit as they sell a wide variety of jams, jelly, candy, and much more! I highly recommend it - you won't be disappointed!

The food was fresh, hot, and delicious! I had an Italian sub and macaroni salad. The service was first class, and the ambiance was charming. Do yourself a favor and have a fried Oreo or two, or three...

I stopped in on a weekday for their beef and noodles and it was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of growing up and it sure was lot easier than making it myself. Nice staff.

I can't tell you how many times I have door dashed this deli late at night. The only place I can order fried Oreos, quality Amish snacks/candies/baked goods, cheese curds, PIE, and a salad soup or sandwich at the same time. It really is awesome.

Having noticed that the long-standing "coming soon!" sign was not longer in the window, I wanted to check out the new Sterling's Amish Deli. Taking over the same storefront as the former Amish Deli (home of "Bowling Green's Biggest, Baddest BLT"), I had high hopes which were only buoyed by the enthusiastic welcome I received from the smiling staff as I entered the establishment. The nice lady at the order counter apologized and said the grill was having issues during their soft opening, but that did not matter to me, as I already had my eyes on trying one of the 2-dog combos. After quickly reviewing my options, I ordered the Sterling dogs with a side of coleslaw, plus a fountain Coke. Before tax, the total came to $9.98, which was pretty reasonable for lunch downtown. As I made my way to one of the booths, I cast my eye around the dining room, and frankly, I liked what I saw! The new laminate floor looked great, as did the brand new -and spotlessly clean- tables, chairs, and booths. The decorations and wall hangings were tasteful and un-cluttered, and I especially liked how the blue light horse silhouette (visible on far-right side of my dining room photo) conveyed a sense of good-Amish-food-meets-21st-century. After a pleasantly short wait, my order was delivered to my booth. The all-beef dogs were garnished with crispy-cooked bacon, red pepper relish, and shredded cheddar cheese. As you can see in my food photo, they looked great, and tasted even better! The side of coleslaw was also very good, which kind of surprised me, as I expected it to be overpowered by the clearly visible chunks of red onion, but the flavours melded together perfectly. I also liked how the staff stopped by my table to ask how the food was, and how speedy and friendly they were any time I took my fountain cup up to the counter for a refill. PROS: very good food, very friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a good atmosphere CONS: for a soft opening, I felt they were great, as I had zero issues! Overall I rate Sterling's Amish Deli as being Very Good, and look forward to returning!
